Brain Rise Foundation Purpose

 The primary purpose of this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is to advance neuroscience and artificial intelligence research to equip frontline treatment centers to better treat patients with substance abuse disorders, mood disorders, PTSD and related brain pathologies.

Ian McCulloh Skype-Ian McCulloh-0877-2

Dr. Ian McCulloh

Executive Director - Dr. McCulloh has three decades of experience conducting research and leading large-scale AI and neuroscience projects.  He maintains faculty appointments at Johns Hopkins University in Computer Science and Public Health.  He established Accenture's Federal AI practice, leading five of the largest at-scale AI efforts in government.  He is a retired Army officer and veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq.

Dr. Michael Oler, MD

Chief Medical Officer - Dr. Oler has four decades of experience in emergency medicine and family practice.  His research includes the neuroscience of persuasion, epigenetics, and the neurobiology of addiction.  He remains active in patient care.

Dr. Eric Daimler

Chief of Research - Dr. Daimler has three decades of experience in artificial intelligence (AI) spanning research, education, venture capital, and leading large AI projects.  He is currently CEO of Conexus AI which is a revolutionary novel use of symbolic AI for data consolidation improving speed, cost, and reliability.  Prior to founding Conexus AI and Brain Rise Foundation, Dr. Daimler was a presidential innovation fellow leading AI and robotics initiatives in the U.S. Obama Administration.
